HDR Photography

HDR stands for high dynamic range imaging.  HDR is a method used in photography to make an image have a greater dynamic range between light and dark areas of the photograph. To make a HDR picture you need to take three pictures of the same subject. Each picture should have a different exposure, light medium and dark. Then when the pictures are merged together you have an HDR photograph. HDR is mostly in relationship with photography. HDR is essentially a way of allowing photos for a wider and deeper range of colors. This allows for the picture to appear much closer to what the human eye sees compared to what the camera’s sensor allows. With HDR you can create the photo that has a mixture of a silhouette photo and over exposed photo.
